People keep yapping about how the previous generations of humans were lean and fit, and the new generation is irresponsible and fat. It has nothing to do with irresponsibility. The previous generations were not superior to your generation. You are not inferior.
The reason for the obesity epidemic is this:
From 1961 to 2009, daily calories available per person has increased by a whopping 1000 calories! Available calories per person keep increasing every day as the prosperity of the world increases.
People of the new generation are fatter because there are too many calories available to eat. The human body is evolved to eat and store as many calories as possible because the history is full of famines. Ancient people survived the famines by storing calories as fat tissue in their bodies at the times of prosperity. When a famine emerged, fat people survived and fit people died.
Now, there’s no risk of famine but your body is still functioning as if you live in the ancient times. Evolution is slow. You should consciously restrict your calories until the evolution catches up with the modern times or you will be fat. Simple as that.
How I Made My Brother and Mother Lose Weight Effortlessly
Losing weight doesn’t always have to be difficult.
I’ve spent the last 2 months with my family. When I came home 2 months ago, I had completed a bulking period and had started a cut.
I meticulously count my calories and macros during my cuts because I don’t want to waste time and I don’t want to lose my hard-earned muscle mass.
I told my mother to measure everything she puts in my meals.
Before our first dinner together, she informed me that she put a glass of olive oil in the main course.
A glass of olive oil is about 10 tablespoons! 10 tablespoons of olive oil is about 1200 calories. And that’s only for one meal and one course. I told her to restrict the oil to 2-3 tablespoons per course because otherwise, we are getting too many unnecessary calories.
She was brainwashed by a charlatan doctor/dietician to believe that olive oil didn’t make you fat. Nothing could be further from the truth. Olive oil is loaded with calories.
Since my family eats with me, they started eating their meals cooked with much less olive oil than before. After a while, they noticed that they are losing weight effortlessly.
I taught them my other methods of weight loss, so within one month, my mother lost 7 pounds and my brother lost 10 pounds of weight.
At the beginning, my mother thought that I was crazy for counting my calories. Now she thanks me every day.
Shooting in The Dark
Actually, it’s not time-consuming or difficult to count your calories or macros.
It takes me max. 5 minutes a day and as a result, I am in excellent shape.
Sparing 5 minutes a day caring about yourself seems insane to people but the same people go and watch TV (which does nothing for them) for 3 hours a day on average.
If you are trying to lose weight but don’t know where your calories are coming from, you are shooting in the dark.
How You Too Can Lose Weight Effortlessly
Take my word and count your calories, even if you can do it for only one week. You will not be doing it for me. You will be doing it for yourself.
It’s highly probable that you will find out some foods you regularly eat that are high in calories and low in leading to satiety.
When you get rid of the unnecessary calories you unknowingly take, don’t be surprised when you start to lose weight effortlessly.
